Senior Project Engineer/Project Leader

Objective

 

  • To ensure smooth functioning and launch of all new programs and managing the existing programs of the Plant.

 

 

Main Responsibilities

 

  • Manage and launch all new projects for Chennai plant within defined time limits, cost, quality, and productivity.
  • Prepare and track the program proposal Scorecard (KPIs) based on reference program if any and Plant targets.
  • Consolidate and maintain the Program schedule with the team, including lead, on time execution and progress.
  • Evaluate & Control all the project/program cost including plan, budget, and report any deviation or potential risk to comply with project/program objective.
  • Lead, action plan generation and execution, align necessary resources to comply with project/programs KPIs & Milestones.
  • Align customer expectations with internal project/program, company objectives and represent on behalf of Nemak with Customers.
  • Follow & lead NPDS methodology application & implementation.
  • Scheduling skills, Advanced Project management process knowledge

 

Position Requirements

 

  • Diploma/bachelor’s degree in mechanical or automobile engineering with minimum 10-15 years of experience in Program management & Product Development in automotive industry, foundry, or Die Casting Industry.
  • Good Communication & Presentation Skills, Cross function understanding & coordination skills
  • Analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
