HSE Sr. Specialist
Objective
Provide occupational health technical advice to CoE and plant management for the management of health and safety risks in BUMX operations Manage and implement ergonomics and industrial hygiene programs for BUMX.
Main Responsibilities
- Identify, monitor and communicate potential occupational illnesses arising from ergonomic and microenvironmental risks in BUMX operations.
- Contribute to the reduction of ergonomically related accidents and occupational diseases by proposing ergonomic improvements in the operation.
- Ensure the recording and analysis of relevant information on ergonomic and industrial hygiene conditions at BUMX for the generation of strategies and decision making.
- Advise BUMX operations in response to audits, investigations and inspections by various health authorities.
- Contribute to the generation of ergonomics and industrial hygiene projects for the BUMX
- Generate proposals and ensure their implementation for the continuous improvement of the occupational health and safety management system.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree bachelor’s degree in Medical Surgeon necessary. Master's Degree/Diploma Occupational Health Desirable, Occupational Ergonomics Certification Desirable
- Knowledge: Occupational Safety and Health, Local, Legal Compliance, Ergonomics, Safety and Health Standards, Hazard Recognition & Control, Hazardous Substances, Energy & Equipment, People Management, Auditing.
- Languages: Intermediate.
- Experience Necessary 5 years of Occupational health and industrial safety, Needed 3 years of Occupational ergonomics, Multidisciplinary health personnel management, Industrial hygiene, 2 years of PM
