Metal Purchasing Sr Buyer
Objective
Propose & manage purchasing performance data analytics to support enabling purchasing strategy and objectives.
Main Responsibilities
- Ecovadis administration: Support global management and suppliers regarding questionnaires, reassessments, and action plans.
- Sustainability (Global): Responsible of tracking, mapping, forecasting, and reporting amount of CO2 purchased -Responsible of taking IATF, ISO 14001, ISO 50001 for Aluminum Department. (coordination with different departments, documentation alignment and compliance of internal processes)
- Market intelligence: Elaboration of surveys and dashboards for a better market understanding in order to develop accurate purchasing strategies.
- Quality: Manage rejections, returns, downgrades and material trials.
- Administration support (metal team): elaboration of information for top management, process mapping, collaboration meetings, RFQ's, regional content follow up, project support, PO creation among other activities.
- Support requirement information from other areas (Finance, MP&L, Planning etc)
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Engineering, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience 3- 5 years as purchasing, finance or related areas.
- Software: SAP, MS Excel, and Power Point, Tableu, Power apps, Ariba.
- Skills: project administration, negotiation, assertive communication, customer oriented.
- English advance required.
