SSC Purchasing Analyst
Objective
Purchase of Indirect Materials that meet specific internal customer requirements and Nemak Standards
Main Responsibilities
- Verify requisition information, trigger RFQs, evaluate proposals, identify standardization opportunities/simplification, create purchase orders, and assure timely delivery according to agreed terms.
- Supplier Development: Resolve conflicts related to suppliers, compliance to purchasing agreements, manage supplier workload, provide feedback about supplier performance, invoice clearance support.
- Coordination with Departments: Work together with purchasing departments, internal customers, and suppliers to resolve problems. Maintain respectful and objective on interactions with suppliers and employees. Assure continuous improvement with suppliers, processes, and initiatives. Promptly resolve conflicts assuring alignment to Nemak values
- Organize and prioritize activities to fulfill internal customer´s needs and manage to have a constant performance on the department
Position Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering, Management, Commerce, Business Administration or similar
- Advanced English
- Experience at least 1 year of Purchasing preferably fosuced on MRO in a manufacturing environment
