Senior Tooling Engineer

Objective:

 

  • To ensure smooth function of tooling operations in shifts and executing the tooling Periodical maintenance activities as per production schedule.

 

  • Reduce tool breakdown and planning of spare parts for tool PM, Tool life monitoring and implementation of ECR/ECN modification in tool.

 

Main Responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for planning, delivery & quality of Tool maintenance based on production plan.
  • Technical support tool supplier for tool modification implementation.
  • Planning of spare parts to meet tool maintenance plan.
  • Coordinate with internal depts and implement ECR/ECN modification in tool.
  • Work towards in reduction on MTTR and increase MTBF by ensuring die basic condition
  • Co-ordinate and follow up with Quality depts for Tool 3D scanner/ CMM reports and plan tool correction.
  • Control and maintain online tooling breakdown for both HPDC and GSPM tooling
  • Resolving issues through 4M techniques (Man, machine, material & methods)
  • Ensure good 5S and safety at shop floor
  • Preform new die inspection at supplier end.
  • Provide essential training, awareness for Team members and leader for effective tooling process
  • Coordinate with Internal departments for QMS audits and prepare / maintain IATF and standard documents.
  • Manpower management for online and offline service activities.

 

Position Requirements:

 

  • Diploma in Tool & Die making or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical. 
  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in Aluminum Die Casting Industries. (Tool shop or Tooling maintenance).
  • Excellent interpersonal Skills with detail and analytical oriented.
