Objective:

Manage the human and technological resources of the Tool shop coordinating and verifying the compliance with activities in accordance with company procedures and policies as well as development to approve and implement new standardization and improvement strategies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential areas or processes of possible accidents and develop operating instructions to avoid them, Ensure Zero accident in Tool shop.
  • Ability to Manage and perform both HPDC & GDC Tooling department across the plants and Definition, standardization and monitoring of the BSC of the Tool shop.
  • Standardization of tool shop across the plants in terms of maintenance of Molds, Equipment’s & Delivery of cost within the Target defined for Manufacturing cost.
  • Sourcing of Mold Suppliers across the plant for both HPDC & GDC and make technical assessment of suppliers to bench mark the tooling suppliers.
  • Create RFQs and coordinate with Purchasing to competitively quote die rebuilds- active participation on new program Tooling Quotes.
  • Develop strategies for analysis and compliance with down time objectives caused by the workshop and other areas, Monitoring of the use and utilization of CNC equipment. / Monitoring the maintenance and condition of the equipment. (Laser welding, CNC Machines, Adjustment press,)
  • Identify the current level of Head count skills and develop the training matrix for technical personnel, & trainings.
  • Accountable for internal scrap at casting (shared Process & Tooling Eng'g). Focus on equipment DT stops which required warm-up activities with action lists and responsibilities. Focus on repeated DT events that plague DCM performance with action lists and responsibilities. Manage continuous improvement decks to ensure new program launches incorporate lessons learned from legacy programs.
  • Participate in new programmes of Tooling and make a successful benchmark launching of tooling without any issue.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or similar).
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in Worked in Automotive Industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal Skills with detail and analytical oriented.
