Objective

Responsible for all production equipment installations and modifications as well as for training of production, maintenance and engineering on new equipment. Manages all facilities and support equipment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manages capital projects as outlined in the Long Range Plan (LRP).
  • Develops and maintains Master Equipment List.
  • Completes Engineering Requests (ER) as assigned.
  • Maintains current layout of buildings, equipment, and grounds.
  • Determines spare parts inventory for production and facilities equipment.
  • Supports plant-wide effort to implement Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
  • Provides direct technical support to plant maintenance department.
  • Plans, implements, and monitors an effective preventive and predictive maintenance program with the assistance of the maintenance department.
  • Tracks downtime and develops corrective actions to improve.

 

Position Requirements

Bachelors in Engineering plus 5 years of relevant experience; or Associates plus 6 years of relevant experience 

• Previous Controls Engineering experience

• Experience in Robotics, Knowledge of Vision Systems, HMI experience, PLC knowledge - Rockwell and Siemens, Electrical design experience preferred

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
