Objective

The Learning and Development Specialist is responsible for preparing the annual training plan and ensuring efficient and effective training requirements are met for the plant.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Prepare the annual training plan corresponding to the plant. Consolidate business (CoE) and plant-specific needs, as well as legal compliance, in a single document.
  • Organize the logistics of the courses (room, coffee break, attendance list, invitation and closing in LMS, etc.). Ensure attendance compliance according to the annual training plan.
  • Upload the LMS report with the courses that were taught at the end of the year on the learning platform.
  • Ensure the competence of hourly personnel by auditing leaders, utilizing skills matrix, and training plans.
  • Approve or decline category flows for hourly personnel according to the guidelines corresponding to the position and area.
  • Attend internal and external audits. Demonstrate adherence to our methods.

 

Position Requirements

  • Computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office Applications
  • 3 years’ experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Associates degree; Bachelor’s degree preferred, Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, Industrial Engineering or related
