Objective

Responsible for utilizing parts and work scheduling supplied by Maintenance Planning, Production Superintendents and MP&L Manager. Directs the maintenance and repair of all existing plant production equipment and facilities. Reports any and all maintenance planning concerns, including repairs, personnel needs, parts and supplies.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Oversees and evaluates the performance of Maintenance Technicians.
  • Works closely with production and support departments to best serve them as customers.
  • Supports plant-wide effort to implement Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
  • Is responsible, under the direction of the Maintenance Superintendent, for the training and development of Maintenance Technicians.

 

Position Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent GED diploma.
  • Five (5) years experience in a large industrial maintenance department.
  • Two (2) year Associates Degree.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic components.
  • Microsoft office skills to include Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
