Product Manager - E-Drive (m/f/d)

YOUR TASKS
- Communicate with customer and supplier on technical level for battery and e-engines.
- Consolidate challenges and requirements from different OEM to identify similarities, trends and differences - manage auto-benchmark studies such as A2MAC1.
- You are responsible for the product vision to elaborate and identify business opportunities on technical scope, general feasibility and their product function and requirements.
- In close cooperation with the product engineering department, you will evaluate the function-specific requirements and carry out measurements of the required product input parameters (e.g. mechanical, electrical and thermal characterisation).
- At the same time, you will lead and contribute to the development of module and battery concepts in pre-development and support the optimisation, as well as the component design in series development.
- Technical lead within concept design phase.
YOUR PROFILE
- You have successfully completed your studies in mechanical engineering (or comparable studies) and have already gained professional experience in the field of battery development.
- As a team player, you use your excellent communication skills in German and English, and your winning personality strengthens the trusting cooperation with international customers and colleagues. Furthermore, your friendly and warm way underpins your very good communication and negotiation skills.
- Ideally, you have applied your engineering knowledge on topics such as battery development, system architecture and system simulation, with the support of software such as A2MAC1; CATIA/NX and are happy to share your knowledge with your team.
- Your confident handling of standard MS Office software, as well as a certain willingness to travel (20-30%) round off your profile.
