Process Expert (Stampings) (M/F/D)
Objective
The process expert is responsible for the technical coordination of suppliers, has a deep understanding in metal forming processes (stamping, deep drawing…) and can align part requirements between suppliers and customers to produce the best possible parts.
Main Responsibilities
- Technical supplier management for stamping & subassembly processes
- Creation of RFQ-documentation based on customer documentation, standards and drawings
- Technical lead of tech-reviews with suppliers
- Develop supplier base in close collaboration with purchasing organization.
- Support SQA with technical expertise during troubleshooting
- Technical evaluation of suppliers
- Evaluation of feasibility concept proposed by suppliers
- Lead and coordination of stamping simulation work and interpret results
- Support of project engineering for customer related topics
- Development of Nemak standards regarding stampings & subassemblies
Position Requirements
- Engineering study (e.g. mechanical / production engineering or similar)
- Experience in the automotive industry or metal processing industry
- Experience in metal forming processes. Experience in quality or simulation would be an advantage
- Systematic working style
- Team player
- Fluent German and English
- Confident business appearance
- Trip availability (30-50%)
