WORKING STUDENT / WERKSTUDENT (W/M/D) SUSTAINABILITY

Sustainability is a field that excites you and that you are already focusing on while studying? Would you like to actively contribute to sustainable developments in an exciting, international environment during your studies? Then we welcome you at Nemak's sustainability team. We are responsible for implementing the Nemak Sustainability Model across national borders, disciplines and divisions. Join us in supporting the automotives industry’s shift towards a more sustainable mobility.

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Sustainability ratings and reporting: You will actively work on supporting our sustainability ratings and reporting’s, collect and manage data and information from a wide range of company areas and write target group specific communication.
You will also support us with the alignment of our sustainability report against international standard such as CSRD.

Market research and data analysis: You will engage to research various sustainability topics such as the TCFD, EU taxonomy etc., create analyzes and benchmarking and prepare the information in an understandable and comprehensive manner.

Climate strategy: We have committed to Science Based Targets, and you can support us on our journey to net zero with project management activities, comparing and engaging into life cycle assessments and the collection of carbon footprint relevant data.

Sustainability support: You take over project management tasks and support the preparation and follow-up of workshops and meetings with experts and executives and contribute with your own ideas for implementation. Also, you are an efficient communicator and prepare presentations and briefings and relevant content for Nemak’s sustainability topics.

 

YOUR PROFILE

• You are a student for bachelor or master`s degree on an economic or engineering related degree ideally with a focus on sustainability.

• You are passionate about the topic of sustainability and are interested in understanding how corporate companies can create and implement sustainable business strategies.

• Knowledge of life cycle assessment and relevant frameworks such as CSRD or GRI are a plus.

• You are well versed in the MS office applications such as Excel and PowerPoint, you communicate in English effectively both in meetings as well as in written communication.

• You are used to work independently and are keen to put in your own ideas and proposals. You work well-structured and are always looking for the best results.
