Working Student Purchasing (m/f/d)

Main Responsibilities
- This role offers you the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in procurement, working with a dynamic team to support sourcing activities, stay informed on market trends and actively contribute to project management and data analysis. Your insights and contributions will be valuable in improving our procurement processes and strategies.
- You will be responsible for creating comprehensive purchasing reports that provide valuable insights into procurement activities, cost analysis, and supplier performance.
- Your tasks include developing and managing reporting templates and interactive dashboards to facilitate the efficient tracking of essential procurement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Your role involves researching and analyzing current market trends in the procurement field, covering emerging technologies like AI and evolving legislative requirements.
- You will take the lead in managing procurement databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity, and actively participate in the development of new database solutions.
- You will assist in carrying out cost calculations, cost-benefit analyses and cost savings assessments.
- You show a strong interest in analyzing historical procurement data to identify areas for process enhancement and cost optimization, actively contributing to more efficient procurement strategies.
Position Requirements
- You are currently studying for a Master's degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or economics.
- Initial experience as a working student or intern
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Enjoy communication with international colleagues and partners - fluent in English and German
- Independent, self-motivated, precise and a real team player? Then you are perfect!
We are looking for you to work 15-20 hours per week during the semester, or full-time during the holidays? in our Frankfurt office in the Squaire.
