Objective

The Facilities/Project Engineer will be responsible for all facilities maintenance projects, as well as other manufacturing engineering projects for major manufacturing facilities.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage all facilities engineering projects (pumps, HVAC, air compressors, cooling towers, emissions control equipment, boilers, roofs, parking lots, fire suppression system, plant alarm systems, etc.).
  • Establish project goals and develop timelines and budgets.
  • Keep timing through open issues and MS Project.
  • Maintain timing and costs.
  • Installation of new equipment and work cells.
  • Plant layout – lead and/or participate in improving workflow throughout the plant.
  • Provide technical/engineering expertise to site maintenance system.
  • Contribute to cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives for safety, on-time delivery, production efficiency and scrap reduction.
  • Advise, assist and review all matters involving capital and major expenses.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred; Associates degree required
  • 2+ years relevant hands on experience with HVAC, compressors, cooling towers, pumps, boilers and facility maintenance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Products
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
