Objective  
The Program Manager is responsible for launching all new programs, engineering changes, process changes, coordinating projects with other functional departments, simultaneous engineering with customers, customer engineering approvals, manufacturing and product engineering services assuring a profitable, cost effective and timely service to the customers and the Nemak operating plant.  
Main Responsibilities  
• Communicates with customers’ engineering, receiving plants, supplier quality, engineering department, purchasing, quality, and manufacturing through cross functional team meetings to support programs.
•Supports preparation of formal quotes for new and revised programs to develop tooling and capital budgets. Responsible to complete AR’s, purchase requisition, invoice approval, tooling Completion Notices.
•Manages design and feasibility sign-offs, data transfers, print reviews and sign-offs on new and existing products including purchased components. Support design to develop products which meet or exceed customer requirements and meet Nemak requirements for manufacturability.
•ISO 14001:  Responsible to assure compliance with the HSE Policy and the ISO 14001 Standard. Additional requirements may be included in the EMS documentation.
•IATF: Responsible for understanding and complying with all site, corporate, regulatory and procedural environmental, safety, security, health, quality and human resources standards.
 
Position Requirements  
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering  
• Minimum two years of program management experience 
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint 
• Customer communication and interface
