Foundry Process Engineering Leader TUR

Objective
The Foundry Process Engineering Leader is responsible for ensuring the efficiency, quality, and stability of aluminum casting processes. This role leads process optimization, cost reduction, and continuous improvement activities while supporting new product launches and maintaining compliance with automotive quality standards.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead and monitor aluminum casting processes (HPDC / SPM) to ensure optimal performance
- Analyze process parameters and implement improvement projects focused on quality, productivity, and energy efficiency
- Conduct root cause analyses for casting defects and manage corrective and preventive actions
- Provide technical leadership for new product and tooling introductions
- Develop and maintain process control plans, work instructions, and technical documentation
- Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and R&D teams
- Support equipment investment projects, from technical evaluation to commissioning
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields
- Minimum 10 years of experience in aluminum foundry or casting process engineering
- Strong knowledge of process development, lean manufacturing, and quality tools (FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D, etc.)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Team leadership experience with strong communication and coordination skills
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
