Objective
Noris Specialist is responsible for Support and Development of Nemak’s data acquisition, reporting and analysis system. This individual is in charge of preparing datasets that allow easy analysis of operational data and preparing key reporting architecture that presents operational data in the standard format of Nemak. The person will provide digital (Information Systems) solutions to aid process visibility that can improve productivity for manufacturing and business processes.
Main Responsibilities
- Maintain the Nemak’s MES Master Data
- Ensure MES and SAP data match.
- Troubleshoot issues regarding our production information systems and identify root cause and drive to eliminate them.
- Develop reports based on data from MES and other systems to aid in problem solving and visual management.
- Understand operational issues and provide information systems based solutions to improve visibility for those problems and help in their elimination.
- Identify and promote business enhancements and value using data analytics and smart Technologies
- Create value for the business by showing/using the power of data analytics
- Support Plant Management with any requests they have related to Industry 4.0 topics
Position Requirements
- 3-4 years experience in similar role.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Systems/ Manufacturing/ Computer Engineering
- MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong MsSQL and SSRS knowledge
- PLC programming (Simatic etc.) awareness is beneficial
- Tableau, MS PowerBI knowledge
- Python is beneficial
