HSE Safety Leader

 

Objective

A professional who can provide timely and effective support to strategic loss control activities - Fire Systems and applicable legal regulations; Civil Protection; Emergency Plans; Brigades and drills; insurance recommendations - as part of ERM (Enterprise Risk Management) and Business Continuity.

 

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide operational and functional support to fire prevention and firefighting systems (detection, alarm and firefighting systems).
  • Manage and update central and plant emergency response plans, as well as the training of emergency brigades and firefighting vehicles, coordinating with the occupational health and environmental areas for Campus Garcia.
  • Ensure legal compliance with firefighting and emergency management regulations (NOM 002 STPS, Civil Protection laws and regulations), including drills, for the Garcia Campus.
  • Manage, together with the plants, Projects and General Services, the contractor management program.
  • Coordinate, together with the plants, the engineering visits of the FM Global insurance company and monitor the closing of recommendations.

 

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree: Mechanical Engineer, Chemical Engineer, Industrial Engineer
  • 5 years minimum in Automotive industry or Foundry in similar role - experience
