Axis Specialist 

 

Objective

Promote the continuation, maintenance, upgrade and development of the Axis Floor Management (SFM) system.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure that information generated on the shop floor is fed into the Noris system in a reliable and timely manner.
  • Ensure that escalations are followed in accordance with Axis and that the appropriate tools are used.
  • Ensure that key meetings and interactions run smoothly and that the defined agendas are adhered to. Verify that information flows properly to take proactive and prudent decisions and actions.
  • Ensure that the R&Rs defined in AXIS are met with the lowest possible variances and that the RDTs are followed and reflect the actual activities of each position.
  • Monitor satisfaction and service survey results and promote Axis values by reporting deviations.
  • Maintain continuous improvement of the AXIS system within the plants and correct, adapt and/or replace tools and methods in line with their counterparts in other plants of the Nemak

 

Position Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industria Engineer or Mechanical Engineer
  • Experience: 2 years in continuous improvement
  • Soft skills:        High sense of responsibility, task oriented, strategic vision, Communication skills, Business oriented, Global Perspective, Innovation and Creativity
  • English: Proficient
  • Change Management Certification – desirable
