CAPEX Purchasing Leader MEX

 

Objective

Ensure relevant category components are sourced on time according to Global Purchasing Policies, Execute assigned category strategies for CAPEX and ensure customer requirements are met to support production demands

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure relevant category components are sourced on time according to Global Purchasing Policies.
  • Conduct RFQs and benchmarks for vendors of category components.
  • Achieve cost objectives for assigned category.
  • Primary point of contact for equipment acquisition by determining plant needs and active support with market know-how, strategies and negotiation
  • Savings initiatives / projects lead.
  • Execute assigned category strategies for CAPEX.
  • Ensure customer requirements are met to support production demands.
  • Support sustainable strategies for the procurement of various capital goods.
  • Reporting/Database Management.
  • Enhance Global Information Database.
  • Support Supplier Evaluation & Categorization for CAPEX projects.

 

Position Requirements

  • Engineering preferred, business administration, supply chain management or related field.
  • Soft Skills: Negotiation skills, Strategic thinking, effective communication
  • Technical Skills: Project Management minimum 3 years of experience, strong knowledge of Equipment / process operations, SAP Experience for purchasing modules, Contract creation for project awarding Claim management, Supplier development
  • English Advanced
