Objective

Responsible of procure all the direct materials required to manufacture a part, ensuring compliance with Global Purchasing Policies. Support implementation of new technologies through supplier management and collaboration. Analyze and monitor compliance with committed savings.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Identify strategic suppliers and develop long-term partnerships through the Preferred Supplier portfolio for Direct Materials.
  • Ensure Production Materials suppliers comply with sustainability requirements across JAGGAER, EDI, Alliax, SAP, and other relevant systems.
  • Drive purchasing price reductions for Production Materials.
  • Manage MPAs and contracting processes with the supplier base.
  • Mitigate risks related to new programs by reviewing plant requirements with Business Partners and ensuring the necessary materials are available to prevent shortages.
  • Ensure compliance with learning initiatives related to Global Purchasing Processes.

 

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field; a master’s degree in Business is preferred.
  • Proficient English level is required.
  • Solid experience in Engineering, Design and Testing (ED&T), year-over-year savings, risk reduction, spend under master price agreements, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Strong background in purchasing, data analytics, supplier management, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Proactive and results-oriented, with strong competencies in strategic sourcing, process management and governance, conflict management, analytical thinking, and execution excellence.
