Objective
Engenius is a fulltime 5-week summer internship program at Nemak, where university students work in teams of 3 people to develop real-world engineering projects. This program offers participants the opportunity to compete for internships, scholarships, and more.
Main Responsibilities

- We are looking for people determined to break the limits who lead us towards our vision of excellence, to become a World Leader in the Automotive Industry.
- THE CHALLENGE
- You will go through a selection process to be part of the final stage of Engenius which takes place during the summer of 2024.
- During this internship program you will be formed with a multidisciplinary team and assigned a mentor. You will receive all the necessary tools and guidance to develop your project that has a direct impact in Nemak’s different areas and show that you are the innovative mind that we are looking for.
Position Requirements
- Active students who are at least one year away from graduation
- Advance conversational English
- Full availability (Monday-Friday)
- 8:00am – 5:30pm On site- Nemak Plant- Garcia, NL
- From 26 June to 07 August
All engineering majors are welcome to participate, including but not limited to: Sustainable Innovation and Energy Engineering, Sustainable Development Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Mechatronics Engineering.
