Objective
Engenius is a 9-month internship program at Nemak designed to develop high-potential engineering talent through real business challenges, cross-functional rotations, and technical training, while ensuring knowledge transfer within our core engineering processes.

THE CHALLENGE
Engenius focuses on hands-on, value-added, real-world challenges that foster technical development, continuous knowledge transfer, and high engagement, while providing interns with structured visibility, mentorship, and exposure to key stakeholders.
As part of the program, participants will gain hands-on experience in the automotive industry, learning about aluminum casting processes and collaborating across different engineering areas such as Process Engineering, Product Engineering, Manufacturing, and related operational functions.
During the program, Engenius participants will:
- Participate in engineering activities connected to their functional role
- Participate in cross-functional engineering rotations
- Receive technical training and mentorship from experienced plant engineers
- Gain exposure to site leadership and real business challenges
Program Requirements
Education: Students with one year left before graduation
Majors: All Engineering are welcome to participate.

On site: Nemak Plant – Garcia, N.L.
Date: Aug 2026 – Apr 2027
Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 3:00pm
Languages: Advanced English
