General Services Coordinator - Energy Utilities

 

Objective

Lead and manage all energy-related infrastructure and services across MEX. Responsible for the administration, planning, and optimization of electrical systems and compressed air, ensuring operational reliability, regulatory compliance, and cost efficiency

 

Main Responsibilities

 

  • Estimate, plan, and manage plant-wide power capacity, including substations and compressed air systems.
  • Lead and implement energy-saving initiatives aligned with corporate sustainability goals.
  • Ensure full compliance with ISO, IATF standards, insurance requirements, and legal obligations.
  • Manage and coordinate energy feasibility studies for new equipment and plant expansions.
  • Maintain direct communication and operational coordination with CFE.
  • Support OPEX and CAPEX project execution related to energy infrastructure.
  • Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance programs through SAP systems.
  • Collaborate with Finance and internal stakeholders to define and control the annual energy utilities budget.       
  • Ensure compliance with audit processes and certification standards (quality, safety, environmental).
  • Drive continuous improvement to enhance service efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Monitor and achieve SLAs for internal customer satisfaction.                                                                                                                                                                                                 

Position Requirements

  • Education: Engineering Degrees
  • Technical Competences: Problem Solving, Project Management, Auditing, Quality Management System.
  • Experience: Substations Management, Energy Saving Projects, Legal requirement compliance, Energy Infrastructure management
  • Languages: English .
  • Soft Competences: Results Oriented, Customer Focus, Collaboration.
