Gas Coordinator MEX

 

Objective

Responsible for overseeing the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of the plant's natural gas systems, especially those supporting high-consumption areas such as foundries. Ensure coordination with national regulatory bodies and supports internal improvement and maintenance initiatives.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Supervise the design, operation, and maintenance of natural gas systems, with focus on foundry and high-demand plants.                                                                                               
  • Ensure continuous supply and performance of gas.                                                             
  • Maintain regulatory compliance with relevant authorities.                                                    
  • Support OPEX and CAPEX project execution for gas-related infrastructure. 
  • Monitor preventive and corrective maintenance through SAP and ensure high system availability.                         
  • Drive operational improvements to reduce consumption and increase system efficiency    
  • Maintain strong collaboration with internal stakeholders to meet plant requirements and resolve issues.
  • Comply with safety culture and best practices in all gas-related activities.                    
  • Ensure readiness for internal and external audits related to safety, environmental, and quality standards.                       
  • Collaborate with the Finance team to plan and control the gas utilities budget.                       

 

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • SAP system knowledge
  • Internal Auditor certification (preferred)
  • 4 years in Natural Gas Operations, Infrastructure, Environmental Standards, Safety practices, Quality, Budget management.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Problem-solving and time management abilities.
  • Advanced English
