General Services Utilities Supervisor

 

Objective

Responsible for managing, supervising, maintaining and operating the company's utilities, ensuring the proper functioning of the equipment and avoiding impacts on the operation, always working with a focus on the safety of people and equipment. 

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage the security system in the area, providing support to your team by being a security leader.
  • Comply with legal requirements for electrical, natural gas, potable water, reuse water, etc.3. Manage the monthly and annual budget for the department.
  • Design, develop internal OPEX and CAPEX projects.
  • Manage, maintain and operate high, medium and low voltage electrical substations (230, 115, 85, 34, 23, 13.8, 4.160 and 0.480 KV).
  • Manage, maintain and operate compressed air generation systems, centrifugal, screw and reciprocating compressors (1500, 1250, 1000, 1000, 900 and 500 HP).
  • Manage, maintain and operate compressed air drying systems, regenerative and refrigerative dryers (1000 to 8000 CFM).
  • Responsible for maintaining and operating cooling systems (chillers), hybrid and open cooling towers.
  • Manage, maintain and operate wastewater treatment systems (sanitary, biological, industrial and ultrafiltration).
  • Manage, maintain, operate osmosis systems and deep wells.
  • Follow up and control preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance.
  • Preparation of weekly reports on activities carried out and improvements implemented in the department.
  • Manage and evaluate the fulfilment of the functions and responsibilities of the technical staff in charge.

 

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical Engineer
  • Knowledge: Quality and Environmental Management Systems, Manufacturing Processes, Finances Performance, Project Management.
  • Languages: English intermediate (disable)
  • Experience: 3 years of Utilities & Facilities positions
