Global Cybersecurity Manager
Objective
The Global Cybersecurity Manager plays a strategic role in Nemak ability to safeguard its digital assets and maintain operational continuity in an increasingly complex cybersecurity landscape. This position is instrumental in proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating cyber risks, thereby reducing the likelihood and impact of cyberattacks. By aligning cybersecurity efforts with the organization's strategic goals, the Global Cybersecurity Manager maintains a balance between protecting critical assets and enabling business growth.
As the Global Cybersecurity Manager, you will play a pivotal role in defining and executing our cybersecurity strategy.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy that aligns with the organization's overall goals and cyber risk tolerance ensuring that the organization is prepared to be cyber resilient through the Identification of critical assets, Preparation with response protocols, Detection capabilities, Response execution and Recover after incidents.
- Ensure that cyber threats and vulnerabilities are continuously monitored and incorporate defense mechanisms to systematically identify new threats.
- Develop and maintain an incident response plan to ensure that there are protocols in place in the event of a cybersecurity incident. Implement cybersecurity incident simulations to prepare the organization in how to respond to cybersecurity incidents.
- Regularly assess the organization's systems and infrastructure for vulnerabilities and ensure IT areas performs the patching of systems and that vulnerabilities are mitigated.
- Ensure technical compliance with relevant cybersecurity controls regulations, standards, and industry-specific requirements.
- Ensure the effectiveness of the SOC. Oversee the operations of a SOC, which involves monitoring and responding to security incidents on a 24/7 basis.
Position Requirements
- Computer Science Engineering
- Master degree in Cybersecurity, Master in Business Administration (Desirable)
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
- Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)
- Spanish Native
- English Proficient
- 10 years, Cybersecurity Incident Response and Recover
- 7 years, IT Systems Experience
- 7 years, Managing or supervising Security Operations Centers
- 7 years, CISO
- 5 years, Multicultural experience
- 5 years, working with Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery Plans
