Global Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

Objective
Provides accurate, timely, and insightful financial analysis, reporting, and planning information that enable the organization to make informed business decisions, optimize resource allocation, and achieve its strategic objectives. The ultimate goal is to create sustainable value for the company, customers, and shareholders.
Responsible for the Financial Reporting, Forecasting, Annual Budget & Business Development Plan processes, while defining & implementing guidelines and tools to provide high-quality financial information. Ongoing tracking & analysis of performance vs budgets.
Main Responsibilities
Budgeting and Planning: support the budget and long-term planning process by coordinating all involved areas; assembling and deploying standard assumptions, challenge business unit assumptions, assess impairment risks, consolidate overall company budget.
"Lead impairment calculation process with external auditors: WACC, carrying value, impairment calculation
Compute implicit enterprise value and stock value based on approved business plan"
Management reporting: consolidate and prepare financial management presentations for CFO, which are reviewed by Top Management and BOD on a monthly/quarterly basis. Serve as a liaison for the investor relations team, managing the earnings guidance scenario modeling, including executive presentation, Q&A support, and ad hoc analysis.
Financial analysis of complex financial information to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making. Cashflow, NWC, revenue development, business segment, product portfolio, profitability.
Evaluation and implementation of transformational projects to streamline and automate systems/process that will improve the effectiveness of financial, budget and forecasting reporting processes in partnership with IT.
Center of Excellence: Support in the CoE team to define and communicate global processes, policies, methodologies, models and systems to provide to the Finance Teams a common and standard understanding of the financial business information.
Global Staff expenses management: challenge areas on budget development, target setting and identify variances.
Position Requirements
Education
• Required: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics• Preferred: Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related field
• Preferred: Professional Certifications such as CPA, CMA, or CFA
Professional Experience
• 10+ years of progressive experience in Finance/Controlling within the Automotive or Manufacturing industry
• Proven track record in Plant Controlling or Operational Finance (understanding of standard costing, BOMs, manufacturing variances)
• 3+ years of experience in Global / Corporate functions (FP&A, Consolidation) with exposure to international stakeholders
• 5+ years of work or study experience abroad (highly valued for cultural adaptability)
Languages
• English: Advanced / Fluent (C1/C2) - Must be able to negotiate and present to C-Suite
• Spanish: Advanced / Native
• German: Advanced (Plus / Desired)
Technical Skills & Knowledge
• Advanced proficiency in SAP (FI/CO) and SAP BW
• Strong command of Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools to create dynamic dashboards
• Expert level in Excel (modeling) and PowerPoint (executive presentations)
• Deep understanding of automotive footprint, product portfolio strategy, and plant processes
• Knowledge of Agile Finance and Project Management
Competencies & Soft Skills:
• Ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority and challenge the status quo constructively
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where data may be imperfect and deadlines are tight
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to simplify complex financial concepts for non-finance audiences
