Global IMS Project Engineer

Objective

Responsible for ensuring the compliance with installation timing in the IMS Projects and support the operation during the learning curve in the new launching programs, comply with the validation protocol for the equipment delivery.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Assure the installation of the projects assigned in the technical center on time.
  • Coordination with the core team involved in the Project to ensure compliance with safety rules and procedures3.- Coordinate the tasks and activities with different departaments during project execution. Negotiating agendas according to business priorities with involved stakeholders, including the plant.
  • Coordinate the validation phase to establlish testing protocols to meet the requirements of : 20 Hours Dry Runs and 8 hrs on production
  • Responsible to develop the installation plan in coordination with the Manufacturing Teams.
  • Define and request all the external services during the installation, this includes vendors relations, and contractors when needed.
  • Coordination with HSE team to define the procedures and safety protocols during project installation, escalating non-compliance situations when applicable.
  • Ensure the work area ( 5 s ) in the shop floor.
  • Preparation machine safety check list validation to assure HSE compliance, not only when designing, developing and installing, but also afterwards ensuring the plant has the resources to use the machinery and their processes safely.
  • Monitoring the progress of tasks vs plan to take actions, such as negotiation, escalations, conflicts resolution, etc.
  • Coordinate external services suppliers to develop IMS projects.

 

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Mecatronic, Automation, Electric or similar required.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Manufacturing Solutions, Maintenance, Projects or Installations
  • English intermediate required
  • Soft Skills: Planning, Organizing
  • Functional Competencies: Neumatic & Hydraulic, Layouts and Installatio, Robotics, Plc´s
