HSE Manager
Objective
Eliminate or reduce risks in operations, the probability of personnel accidents, material losses and damage to the environment through the implementation of engineering, administrative and operational controls in the plant. As well as ensuring compliance with the guidelines of Nemak MEX, Nemak Global and applicable regulations on Safety, Occupational Health and Environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Implement Corporate Health, Safety, Environment and Security Programs and Initiatives
- Ensure compliance with regulatory compliance, HSE programs and policies at the plant level.
- Provide advice to operations on HSE issues.
- Lead Plant HSE Management System (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO50001, Safety)
- Attending audits as required (Internal, Customer, Regulatory, etc.)
- Develop and follow up Area budgets.
- Assist in accident investigation, following up on plans to prevent recurrence.
Position Requirements
- Education: Engineering, Environmental Sciences
- Experience: ISO 140001, ISO 45001, Risk management, Environment, Occupational Health and Safety, Occupational Safety, Leadership in HSE areas
- 5 years in similar positions
- English: Proficient
