HSE Sr Specialist
Objective
Support the implementation of the HSE Management System for the plant as well as ensuring HSE legal compliance and customer requirements and programs for your manufacturing operations.
Main Responsibilities
- Compliance of Local Standards and procedures implemented to meet local level requirements.
- Integration of HSE compliance assurance plans and activities that include equipment, personnel, operational procedures and protocols for report to the local HSE BP Manager.
- Support the implementation and/or surveillance of ISO 14000, ISO 45001, and others required to ensure 100% compliance for Best-in-Class performance
- Be part of the Internal Auditors Program and integrate inspection and audit programs.
- Ensure that the Contractors are following the standards established (HSE matters)
- Promote and coach the appropiate HSE behavior in the plant.
- Be part of the implementation and operation of emergency preparedness and response plans as well as related physical infrastructure.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams to perform specialized cumulative hazard characterization and control to create adjustments to work environment to ensure levels of exposure are acceptable.
Position Requirements
- +5 years of experience working in similar roles (Expertise in health, ergonomic, industrial hygiene, safety, emergence response, water, energy, waste, air emissions, hazardous substances, risk and impact management)
- Thorough knowledge of Mexican HSE Regulations both at Federal and State levels including permit and licensing requirements and processes as well as administrative procedures and Mexican Administrative Code regulations
- IRCA or Exemplar Global Occupational HSE Certified auditor. (Certificate of an auditor training course, provided by an accredited trainer (BSI, SGS, DNV, BVQI, etc.).
