Head of Product Specialist MX

 

Objective

Provide technical and operational support for the assigned manufacturing process (such as cores, heat treatment, machining, metallurgy, problem solving, among others) at an organizational level. The position focuses on technical analysis, documentation, standard follow-up, and plant support to ensure effective process execution, standardization, and continuous technical performance improvement across the organization.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and operational support for the assigned manufacturing process across plants.
  • Execute technical analyses and document findings, conclusions, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Participate in technical audits, validations, and process assessments.
  • Propose technical adjustments aligned with established standards and organizational guidelines.
  • Follow up on corrective actions defined by the direct leader, ensuring timely execution and closure.
  • Interact with plant teams to collect, analyze, and validate technical process information.
  • Support the analysis and resolution of complex technical and process-related problems.
  • Contribute to the development, update, and maintenance of technical standards and documentation.
  • Prepare and present technical conclusions, reports, and recommendations to leaders and cross-functional teams.

 

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in automotive manufacturing environments.
  • Technical experience in the assigned manufacturing process.
  • Experience in technical analysis, audits, problem solving, and documentation.
  • Ability to interact with plant teams and present technical conclusions.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement and quality tools (Lean, Six Sigma, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC – desirable).
  • Proficient English
