Objective

Work with the global and regional Applications Community to develop technical blueprints and ensure alignment on specific standards (Development Standards, Compliance, Security, Data, Infrastructure, etc).

Main Responsibilities

• Work with the global and regional Applications Community to develop technical blueprints and ensure alignment on specific standards (Development Standards, Compliance, Security, Data, Infrastructure, etc).
• Focus on Application life cycle portfolio at an optimum total cost of ownership. Define high-level migration plans to address the gaps between the current and future state, keeping up-to-date with latest technology, software development technologies and methodologies.
• Plan and execute of applications change controls according to standards, keeping transparency and best practices; maintaining business operation continuity.
• Oversee and facilitate the research, evaluation, and selection of software solutions, related standards, as well as the design of standard configurations.
• Manage and maintain overall solution architecture, documentation, scalability, and integrity.
• Manage vendors and contracted services to perform and deliver according to best practices, measuring value delivery and improvement actions.
• Able to effectively influence stakeholders, team members, and peers to design and deliver optimal solutions in line with the best interest and expectations of the business.
• Use agile methodologies to maintain a strong focus on delivery priorities, and swiftly responding to changing requirements.
• Ability to proactively suggest new ways of approaching tasks to provide a better service to our customer base.

Position Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field. Or equivalent work experience in IT and business processes.
• Experience: 5-8 years as IT Applications Leader or IT Manager.
• Technical Skills: Application architecture, modeling, documentation, and analysis
• General knowledge on Digital technologies and implementation (ML/AI, AR, Cloud Computing, IIoT, API, SCADA, others), Application implementation experience, Database Management (SQL).
• Software development & lifecycle management (CMMI, ITIL, SOA, others)
• Agile & Innovation frameworks (SCRUM + Design Thinking)
• Project Management
• Budget & Financial planning
• People, Vendor & Contract Management
• Soft skills: Exceptional communication, collaboration, teamwork, negotiation, and influence, as well as relationship-building skills at all levels with internal and external parties, (special focus on IT Delivery BP's), Change Management, Resiliency and Emotional Intelligence.
