As a pivotal member and business partner, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic management, optimization, and innovation of Ignition-SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) applications. Your primary objective will be to ensure the seamless integration of Ignition platform across our Americas operations, aligning IT initiatives with business objectives.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage and govern the Ignition application portfolio, ensuring optimal utilization and alignment with business objectives.
  • Coordinate efforts to align Ignition Application strategies with global and regional frameworks, adapting to changing business requirements.
  • Manage and govern of the Ignition infrastructure, servers and licenses, ensuring efficiency and relevance.
  • Act as a key liaison between IT and the Americas Engineering, Maintenance & Lean Functional team, fostering strong partnerships and understanding of business needs.
  • Implement best practices to enhance efficiency, reliability, and effectiveness of applications supporting manufacturing processes.
  • Manage Vendors and contracted services to ensure the seamless integration and support of Ignition Applications.
  • Able to effectively influence stakeholders, team members, and peers to design and deliver optimal solutions in line with the best interest and expectations of the business.
  • Application implementation experience
  • Knowledge of other SCADA software – Kepserver, RSLogix, etc
  • Knowledge of PLC is desirable.
  • Knowledge of Azure & SQL
  • General knowledge on Digital technologies and implementation (Computer Vision, ML/AI, Cloud Computing, IIoT, API, others)
  • Agile & Innovation frameworks (SCRUM + Design Thinking)

 

Position Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field. Or equivalent work experience in IT and business processes.
  • Desirable Master Degree on Industrial Engineer, Mechatronics, Digital & Innovation, MBA
  • Experience: 3-5 years as IT coordinator
  • Technical Skills: Ignition, Kepserver, RSLogix, SQL, Azure, MSSR, ETL, OPC UA, API Development, Tableau, Microsoft platform suite, Big Data, Computer Vision, Apps Support
  • Language: English (Fluent), Spanish (Native)
