IT Applications Sr Specialist

 

Objective

Subject Matter Expert for IT Finance Solutions focused on Accounts Receivables, Payables, Treasury and others impacting NWC

Advice on technological and process recommendations to support Finance & Controlling solutions evolution, alignment to busienss strategy, embrace digitalization and end to end best practices.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Subject Matter Expert for IT solutions & business processes for Finance focused on Accounts Receivables, Payables, Treasury and others for NWC, able to influence on best practice definitions and implementation.
  • Propose IT projects. Working proactively with the business and finance teams to identify gaps or future needs providing technological recommendations.
  • Support on audit requirements, segregation of duties (SOD), ensuring compliance and system availability.
  • Support NWC maximization, influencing on finance and SSC stakeholders to preserve best practices and the correct usage of systems, process alignment and data maintenance.
  • Assure the integration of Finance & Controlling, IT solutions to the Nemak IT landscape/strategy. Ensure compliance to the Nemak methodology, templates and data protection protocols.
  • Embrace automation & digital transformation acting as an advisor on new systems, technologies, business processes and Innovation.
  • Ensure Finance and Shared Service Center users follow business process defined, correct system usage and maintain training knowledge.
  • Lead IT medium and large projects, new business processes, and the integration with other modules.
  • Monitor systems and ensure availability and reliability, in addition to manange procedures for troubleshooting and support.

 

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Industrial Engineer, Finance or related.
  • Advanced English.
  • SAP Finance / Controlling, SAP S/4 HANA & SAP ABAP programing experience
  • Cost controlling basics
  • Experience in Finance & Treasury Process and Vendor Invoice Management
