Indirect Purchasing Sr Buyer

 

Objective

 

The position serves several key purposes within an organization, including the efficient management of resources, cost optimization, ensuring the availability of supplies, supplier management, regulatory compliance, and the implementation of procurement processes and policies, as well as providing support to and delivering efficient service to other departments, among other responsibilities at Nemak North America.

 

Main Responsibilities

 

  • Propose strategic procurement planning
  • Identify and evaluate suppliers
  • Ensure safety certification (EcoVadis) for key suppliers
  • Prepare expense reports
  • Develop category strategies
  • Negotiate commercial terms
  • Seek cost and budget optimization
  • Increase procurement automation
  • Develop and implement cost-saving projects
  • Draft legal contracts
  • Conduct tenders and document results

 

Position Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related.
  • Master’s in business Administration or Finances (Desirable)
  • At least 5 years of experience in Purchasing department.
  • English Advanced
