Information and Operations Technology Integration Sr Specialist

 

Objective

Lead the strategic planning and execution of IT OT integration projects, ensuring alignment with business goals. Foster a culture of collaboration between IT, Plant automation teams, and other departments to achieve seamless operational technology integration.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage relationships with vendors, ensuring the procurement of solutions that support strategic IT OT integration and cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of vendor offerings, negotiating contracts that align with the company's operational and security standards.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive training program focused on upskilling internal teams in areas of IT OT integration, cybersecurity practices, and the Purdue Model.
  • Identify skill gaps and create personalized development plans to enhance team capabilities in managing, securing, and integrating IT and OT systems.
  • Lead the development and implementation of advanced cybersecurity strategies for OT systems, emphasizing the importance of segregation concepts and the Purdue Model.
  • Regularly review and update incident response and business continuity plans to address the unique challenges of IT OT integration.
  • Ensure that IT OT integration efforts comply with all relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Advocate for adherence to legal and regulatory guidelines within all projects, acting as a liaison to external regulatory bodies as necessary.

 

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in IT OT integration, with a proven track record of leading successful integration projects.
  • Expertise in industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA systems, and cybersecurity, with a strong understanding of segregation models such as the Purdue Model.
  • Demonstrated ability in vendor management, including negotiating contracts and managing service-level agreements (SLAs).
