Infrastructure & Operations Specialist (Cloud Services)

 

Objective

Reporting to the IT Americas Infrastructure and Operations team, the Enterprise Cloud Services Specialist will play a critical role in managing and governing our cloud service portfolio, ensuring optimal service usage, performance, and lifecycle management. This position requires effective coordination with diverse, multicultural teams and alignment of current and future cloud needs to global and regional frameworks.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Cloud Service Portfolio Management: Oversee the management and governance of the enterprise cloud service portfolio.
  • Conduct regular assessments of service usage, performance, and lifecycle management.
  • Alignment and Compliance: Coordinate efforts to align current and future cloud service needs with global and regional frameworks. Ensure compliance with Global Information Security policies and procedures.
  • Cost-Benefit Analysis:  Conduct cost-benefit analyses to determine the right-fit cloud services for the organization.
  • Optimize service selection based on efficiency and cost considerations.
  • Vendor selection and management on supporting and consulting services in optimal economical balance.
  • Multicultural Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with multicultural teams across different geographical locations. Foster a collaborative and inclusive working environment.
  • Hyperscale Services: Leverage knowledge and experience in Microsoft Hyperscale services, particularly Azure services. Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in the cloud computing space.

 

Position Requirements

  • Career and Skills Desired: Bachelor’s in computer science, Electronics and Communication. Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (Required)Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) (Preferred) Microsoft Azure Configure and Operating MS Azure Virtual Desktop (AZ-140) (Preferred) Strong understanding of Microsoft Hyperscale services, particularly Azure. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with multicultural teams. Experience in conducting cost-benefit analyses for cloud services. Familiarity with compliance and security standards in the cloud environment.
  • Others Exceptional communication, collaboration, teamwork, negotiation, and influence, as well as relationship-building skills at all levels with internal and external parties. Ability to think logically and demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills demonstrated track record of self-knowledge. Change ManagementAnalytical thinking
  • Languages: Proficient English
  • Experience Required: Proven experience in managing enterprise cloud services, preferably in a manufacturing or automotive industry setting. 3+ years of relevant Microsoft Azure Administrator Experience must have hands-on experience in system administration of Windows server-side infrastructure, manage virtual networks and machines. Strong knowledge of various cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, & SaaS)Must have hand-on experience with implementation, management, and support of Mult iCloud Environments
