L&D Sr Specialist - Maintenance and Technical Trainings
Objective
L&D Specialist will be accountable for the administration, instructional design, operation and
coordination from all the laboratories, staff and programs related to Training Center Facility in
Garcia. Role also will provide L&D support for Global Flexible Manufacturing System team based in Garcia (Tech Center 1 & 2).
We’re looking for candidates with experience in maintenance and a strong interest in learning, exploring, and growing within the field of learning and development.
Main Responsibilities
- LMS / Admin Coordinator: Manages documentation, records, and KPIs.
- Operations Coordinator: Manages scheduling and physical resources • Budget management.
- Supplies management.
- Ensures 5S standards in the center.
- Ensures proper support for simulators and training equipment.
- Coordination with SMEs and Manufacturing Engineering.
- Updates programs, manuals, and curricula.
- Instructor agenda management.
- Course scheduling and planning.
- Competency-based or Kirkpatrick-type evaluation system.
- Training center KPIs (e.g., plan compliance %, NPS, ROI, scrap/rework impact, etc.).
- Manages the IMS technical training agenda.
- L&D license to operate agenda for GFMS team according to specialty requirements.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree Engineering or related fields.
- Experience or strong passion for learning and development, instructional design, talent management, and organizational growth.
- Technical Competences: HPDC, low gravity casting, machining, electric mobility operations, and knowledge of local labor regulations related to training.
- Soft Competences: Communication, Leadership, Decision Making, Negotiation, Conflict Management.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the automotive industry.
- Language: English (full bilingual proficiency)
