MES Sr Specialist
Objective
Responsible for the coordination of the MES team of the plants. In charge of the management, implementation and sustainability of MES ensuring the reliability of the platform. Defines and coordinates MES' strategy ensuring the integration and continuous improvement of the system, designs the operational data acquisition strategy seeking to deliver solutions for effective decision-making.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the team responsible for the management, implementation and maintenance of the MES system in the plants.
- Oversee the reliability of the MES system through regular monitoring and validation of records between SAP and MES.
- Establish and follow up on strategy for current products and releases, ensuring integration and continuous improvement.
- Generate and deliver data analysis to operational areas for strategic decision-making.
- Ensure the availability and functionality of equipment (PCs, PLCs, scanners) and manage the secure transfer of data.
- Keep master data up-to-date with changes in the plant and ensure compliance with IT standards.
- Coordinate the integration of the system into new equipment and programs, ensuring budget for traceability and information.
- Manage internal user requirements and problems, prioritizing according to criticality and solving root causes.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mechatronics Engineering, Operations Information System, IT Operations Automation or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in MES and automotive industry.
- Technical Competences: SAP, Tableau, SQL, Power BI
- Soft Competences: Leadership, Decision Making, Conflict Management, Planning and Time Management.
- Language: English (full bilingual proficiency)
