Maintenance Design Sr Engineer
Objective
Responsible for developing, standardizing, and optimizing preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to ensure the reliability of critical equipment and facilities. Designs maintenance programs based on data analysis, best practices, and reliability engineering methodologies (RCM, FMEA, MTBF, MTTR), contributing to maximizing asset availability and minimizing unplanned costs.
Main Responsibilities
- Design and implement preventive and predictive maintenance plans aligned with the site’s reliability strategy.
- Analyze recurring equipment failures (root cause analysis) and implement design improvements in maintenance plans.
- Lead optimization projects for the reliability of critical equipment, ensuring the reduction of unplanned downtime.
- Manage and update maintenance databases (SAP/CMMS), ensuring accurate documentation of routines and frequencies.
- Coordinate with process engineering, production, and procurement to ensure the availability of spare parts and critical materials.
- Evaluate new predictive maintenance technologies (sensors, IoT, remote monitoring) and oversee their implementation.
- Ensure compliance with maintenance KPIs (MTBF, MTTR, availability, % preventive/predictive compliance).
- Train and provide technical support to maintenance engineers and technicians in reliability practices.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
- Strong knowledge in Aluminum Handling, Operations, Maintenance Planning & Control
- Manufacturing Industry.
- Technical Competences: TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), Design and Interpretation of Technical Drawings, Supply Chain / Value Chain
- Soft Competences: Conflict Management Communication, Negotiation, Decision making, Leadership.
- Language: English (full bilingual proficiency)
