Maintenance Electrical Engineer

 

Objective

Design, implement, and improve technical solutions to increase the reliability, availability, and safety of industrial equipment through maintenance engineering, failure analysis, spare parts management, and specialized technical support.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop Basic and Detailed Engineering to improve equipment conditions and performance.
  • Engineering of spare parts and materials to eliminate chronic failures in components and equipment.
  • Generate and participate in activities for ACRs (Root Cause Analysis) on equipment with high failure rates.
  • Generate and provide technical support for the creation of new items in the warehouse.
  • Conduct equipment performance audits based on OEM standards.
  • Support the development and updating of special methods for maintenance personnel.
  • Record, control, and follow up on equipment with limited capacity (CRPL).
  • Propose design solutions and apply new technologies to components and equipment that impact MTBF/MTTR.
  • Develop and update routines for electrical personnel on shifts.
  • Complement activities in Preventive and Predictive Maintenance Plans to increase reliability and safety.
  • Select and specify equipment and materials to solve capacity issues and extend service life.
  • Research and obtain support from technology firms to adapt equipment to process needs.
  • Perform Early Equipment Management (EEM) activities for new equipment.

 

Position Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Career: Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
  • Experience in automotive maintenance is a plus
  • At least 2 years of experience in Operations / Maintenance; Maintenance Planning & Control
  • At least 2 years of experience in Automotive Industry, Aluminum Handling and Manufacturing Industry
  • Skills: Leadership, Strong analytical and Problem-solving skills, Communication, Teamwork.
  • Proficient English
