Maintenance Leader HPDC

 

Objective

Oversees all aspects of the maintenance department, production lines and affiliated equipment.
Schedule work and manpower to meet production demands., maintain the preventative maintenance system and work toward meeting or exceeding the plants safety and uptime goals. Control maintenance expenses by monitoring overtime and parts expenses weekly.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain mechanical integrity and equipment reliability programs to ensure employee safety provides environmental security and maximizes the plant's availability, product quality, and cost effectiveness.
    Other primary duties include ownership of the plant's PM/Pd.M. activities; leadership of equipment performance tracking and repair/improvement prioritization; technical guidance and coaching of mechanical crew; and engineering support of maintenance and capital projects.
  • Implement the complete strategy of the Progressive Maintenance (PM) Pillar across all manufacturing lines while assure high performance KPI results in state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment and TPM & IL6S Methodology's.
    Implement the HSE strategy to be able to pause, think and act while doing maintenance activities as a value culture.
  • Assures production schedules are met and all issues are resolved and communicated in a timely fashion and reasonable costs.
  • Responsible for eliminating all causes of failure and ensuring full useful life in coordination with daily maintenance completed by operating personnel. Leads activities of workers engaged in repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment.
    Provides technical and problem-solving support for the plant and maintenance crews.
  • Supports and executes plant specific maintenance strategies to achieve Plants key performance goals for overall maintenance performance. Inspect operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards.
  • Reviews production, quality control, and maintenance reports and statistics to plan and modify maintenance activities.

 

Position Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or equivalent
  • Experience: 3+years similar positions
  • Knowledge of maintenance tasks and activities. Mechanical, electrical and control on high end equipment. Ability to create strategic planning for asset management activities. Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time. Advanced understanding of predictive and preventive maintenance processes,
  • High analytical skills. Demonstrated leadership skills
    Strong written, verbal, communication, and presentation skills. Computer Maintenance Management Systems (SAP is a Must) Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma methods and processes.
    Ability to lead direct reports and provide proper feedback and motivation to sustain a teamwork environment. Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems using formal techniques to evaluate systems, equipment, and processes.
    Demonstrated ability to organize and implement projects which improve the operational effectiveness of a process. Experience and execution in use of Reliability and Cause Analysis tools (i.e. RCA, FMEA, 5 Why, Fishbone, Criticality Analysis, etc.). Knowledge and experience with Preventative Maintenance programs. Knowledge of Electronic and Electrical principles.
