Maintenance Planning Engineer

 

Objective

Responsible for planning, scheduling, and controlling the preventive maintenance activities of assets, ensuring the best use of labor, spare parts, and tools. Development and implementation of maintenance strategies, preparation of plans, and budgets related to the department's activities.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Development and scheduling of preventive maintenance programs for assets
  • Ensure necessary spare parts, tools, and materials for activity execution.
  • Management of maintenance activity backlog
  • Coding of materials in the warehouse and management of inventory levels
  • Keep the structure in SAP updated to the spare parts level.
  • Monitoring maintenance costs and participating in expense reduction plans
  • Address corrective maintenance needs.
  • Analysis of maintenance indicators (MTBF, MTTR, Availability)

 

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Mechatronics, or related.
  • Experience 3 - 5 years as maintenance planning.
  • Knowledge of IATF16949 standards, maintenance methodologies: TPM, Progressive Maintenance.
  • Technical knowledge in hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, electricity, control and automation, and tribology.
  • Skills: project administration, negotiation, assertive communication, customer oriented.
  • English advance required.
