Objective

Responsible for ensuring the optimal operation of equipment and systems, improving production, quality and cost through the development of maintenance strategies. Comply with safety regulations by implementing prevention measures and training staff in technical skills.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities in the facilities.
  • Plan and coordinate the resources necessary to ensure continuity of operations.
  • Constantly evaluate and improve maintenance processes and procedures.
  • Maintain communication with other departments and suppliers to ensure efficiency in response times.
  • Control the daily expenses of spare parts, taking care of compliance with the cost per piece and budget of the area and implementation of projects to reduce costs.
  • Managing staff overtime without exceeding goals and plans improves the trend.
  • Manage the necessary training for the development of personnel who report directly/indirectly.
  • Manage the required training, generate a good work environment.
  • Follow up on findings of 5 ́s audits, follow up on escalations of hazardous waste generation.
  • Ensure the positive trend of maintenance indicators.
  • Availability, Costs, FMSR, TMPR and generate effective action plans focused on the system.

 

Position Requirements

  • Education required: Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related careers.
  • 5 years of experience in Technical Personnel Management and maintenance care and scheduling. Knowledge in 4-5 Axis CNC. Analysis and troubleshooting (5W+1H, 8D's, root cause). Knowledge of strategy systems, TPM, RCM 2.
  • Soft Skills: Structured and Organizational, Innovation and Creativity, Collaboration, Results-Oriented Approach, Working Under Pressure and Time Flexibility.
