NORIS Applications Specialist
Objective
NORIS (short for Nemak Operations Real-time Information System) is globally used as a machine data acquisition system, information management (providing OLAP data warehouses), and industry 4.0 concepts like part tracking. It provides interfaces to SAP, subcontractors, and customers. NORIS allows bi-directional communication. Such steering of processes affects production.
NORIS developers create solutions that will work on cabinet displays (directly on the machine), desktop PCs, and mobile phones. On mobile devices, we use responsive design.
Main Responsibilities
- Requirement engineering and project lead for production relevant projects with a duration of about 12 months
- Realization of pilots with R&D BU teams regarding industry 4.0 pilots and feasibility studies
- Creation of applications, interfaces, and services (e.g., OLAP cubes)
- Design of algorithms to block parts (affecting production)
- Self-determined selection of frameworks, components, technical methods to influence NORIS architecture
- Adaption of tools to cover plant-specific needs
- Data integration (merging data from different systems) to gain specific KPIs (manh/pcs, cost/pcs)
- Creation of data exchange interfaces with machine vendors and 3rd party software providers (e.g., mobile applications)
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineer
- Full-stack programming: database to front end (Typescript, Angular framework, Python).
- Object Oriented programming: C#, .NET, Angular,T-SQL
- English advanced
