NORIS Development Analyst

 

Objective

NORIS Development specialists are responsible for delivering applications according to the software development lifecycle in a manufacturing setting. This includes requirement engineering, coding, testing, and project management during the rollout process.

NORIS development is database-oriented. (MS SQL-server e.g. performance optimization of databases)

Developing software in Nemak means to be Microsoft-affine (.net framework, IIS server, Azure)

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Implementation of applications, interfaces, and services (e.g., OLAP cubes)
  • Self-determined selection of frameworks, components, technical methods to influence NORIS architecture. Development of tools to cover plant-specific needs and foster our digital journey.
  • Data integration (merging data from different systems, ETL, interfaces to SAP, BI and data warehousing)
  • Plant data acquisition: Creation of shopfloor-solutions, related to machine OEE and transfer of machine signals. Incl. Data exchange interfaces with machine vendors and 3rd party software providers
  • Partially: Mobile (responsive) application development
  • Requirement engineering (together with BU-responsible persons)
  • Training of key users in BU and plants
  • Service documentation.

 

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical or another related Experience: 3 years of full stack software development mindset to work in a manufacturing driven company.
  • Full-stack programming: database to front end (Typescript, Angular framework, Python).
  • Project management skills in a manufacturing setting (with not always clearly defined roles), collaboration with product owner, technical implementer, requirement engineer, etc.Eager to learn newer technologies (.net Core development, Docker, Kubernetes, and integration of Python code)
  • Software: SAP, MS Excel, and Power Point, Tableu, Power apps, Ariba.
  • Skills: negotiation, assertive communication, customer oriented.
  • English advance required.
