Objective
Ensure the correct execution and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, guaranteeing compliance with safety, quality, cost, environmental, and customer service standards. Promote a culture of safety, operational discipline, and teamwork aligned with Nemak’s core values.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure safe operations aligned with HSE standards to achieve zero accidents.
- Drive quality improvements and compliance with internal and external standards.
- Manage production schedules, manpower, and resources to meet demand.
- Control and analyze manufacturing costs to support budget and savings goals.
- Lead and motivate teams to enhance engagement, performance, and development.
- Promote sustainable operations by optimizing energy and resource consumption.
- Strengthen collaboration between departments and suppliers to ensure alignment.
- Develop workforce skills through targeted training and continuous learning.
Position Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
- Experience: 5-6 years in manufacturing or production operations, leading teams or shifts. Experience in automotive or manufacturing environments is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Production management, quality systems, Lean/Continuous Improvement, HSE standards, and process optimization.
- Soft Skills: Leadership, problem-solving, teamwork, communication, and results orientation.
- Languages: English - Intermediate level.
