Operations Head

 

Objective

Supervise and coordinate daily operational activities, ensuring the effective execution of tasks while supporting the achievement of organizational goals and compliance with established standards and policies.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead the operational team, providing timely guidance and making effective decisions when delays or issues arise.
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities based on each team member’s skills, experience, and development needs.
  • Set priorities according to the production schedule and delegate responsibilities to team leaders to achieve departmental goals.
  • Communicate objectives clearly, monitor progress, and keep the team aligned with operational priorities.
  • Address employee concerns, workplace conflicts, suggestions, and complaints, involving Human Resources when necessary.
  • Identify development opportunities for both new and experienced employees to strengthen their knowledge and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and established workflows, reorganizing resources when needed.
  • Plan and coordinate personnel, activities, and timelines to optimize productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Promote compliance with safety standards and help prevent unsafe acts and working conditions.
  • Propose and implement improvement initiatives to meet production targets and customer requirements.

 

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • At least 1 year of experience leading teams.
  • At least 4 years of experience in auditing.
  • 9 years of supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of problem-solving methodologies, safety and health standards, and hazard identification and control.
  • Experience supporting employee learning, development, talent management, and workforce planning.
  • Strong action orientation, decision-making, and conflict-management skills.
  • Effective communication and team development capabilities.
