Objective

Responsible for managing tenders and awarding contracts for services required at the plant, based on the scopes of work submitted by users through the system, while ensuring supplier compliance with Purchasing policies

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Support corrective and preventive maintenance activities during equipment startup.
  • Support Maintenance Engineering with equipment startup following new installations or process modifications.
  • Report modifications that improve equipment and processes to the Engineering department.
  • Document all PLC programming for equipment installed in the area.
  • Train personnel under your supervision to improve their technical skills.
  • Provide support for aluminum casting equipment or molding lines.

 

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, International Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 1 year of purchasing or related experience in an automotive production environment, including technical or commodity purchasing, purchasing project management, or purchasing management.
  • SAP knowledge and hands-on experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing processes preferred.
  • Knowledge of purchasing tools and negotiation methods, with the ability to negotiate independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally within an international matrix organization and independently achieve results.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of management.
  • Customer service skills.
